Fruits
- 1 cup mixed fruit (such as strawberries, kiwi, mango, blueberries, and pineapple), diced
Liquid
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups fruit juice (such as orange juice, apple juice, or a blend)
- Prepare the Fruit: Wash and dice a variety of colorful fruits into small bite-sized pieces to ensure even layering and easy freezing.
- Layer the Fruit: Place a small layer of mixed fruit pieces into the bottom of each pop mold, distributing colors evenly for a vibrant effect.
- Add Fruit Juice: Pour a small amount of fruit juice over the fruit layer to help bind the ingredients and enhance flavor.
- Repeat Layers: Continue layering fruit and juice alternately until the molds are filled, leaving a little space at the top for expansion during freezing.
- Insert Sticks and Freeze: Place the lids and sticks onto the molds securely and transfer them to the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours or until completely solid.
- Unmold and Serve: To release the lollies, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds and gently pull out the frozen fruit lollies. Enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh, ripe fruits for the best flavor and texture.
- You can use 100% natural fruit juice with no added sugar to keep the lollies healthy.
- Feel free to experiment with different fruit combinations based on seasonal availability.
- If the fruit juice is too sweet, dilute with a little water to balance the flavor.
- The lollies can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks for optimal freshness.
