- 4 cups sugar
- Zest of 2–3 oranges
Oils & Liquids
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. Castile soap
- 2 tsp. orange juice
- 30 drops sweet orange essential oil
- 15 drops vanilla essential oil
Instructions
- Mix Sugar and Coconut Oil: Combine half of the sugar with the coconut oil in a mixing bowl. If using unrefined coconut oil, take extra time to blend them thoroughly until well combined.
- Add Olive Oil, Orange Juice, Zest, and Castile Soap: Incorporate the olive oil, fresh orange juice, orange zest, and Castile soap into the mixture, stirring well to blend all ingredients uniformly.
- Incorporate Remaining Sugar: Add the remaining sugar to the mixture, stirring continuously to ensure even distribution and a consistent scrub texture.
- Add Essential Oils: Combine the sweet orange and vanilla essential oils, then add them to the mixture. Mix thoroughly to infuse the scrub with the uplifting scents.
- Store Properly: Transfer the body scrub into an airtight container and store it in a cool, dark place to preserve its freshness and effectiveness.
