This Mint Oreo Bark is a simple, no-bake treat combining crunchy Oreo cookies with creamy white chocolate infused with refreshing mint flavor and vibrant green coloring. Perfect for a holiday snack or a quick sweet indulgence, this bark is easy to make and requires just a few ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale

Oreos

  • 1/2 of a 15.5 oz package of regular Oreos (about 20 cookies)

White Chocolate Mix

  • 24 oz bag of white chocolate morsels
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp mint extract (adjust to preference)
  • Green food coloring (a few drops)

Instructions

  1. Break Oreos: Place about 20 Oreo cookies into a large bowl and break them into large chunks; set aside.
  2. Melt chocolate: Melt the 24 oz of white chocolate morsels according to the package instructions. Typically, this involves heating in a microwave-safe bowl in short intervals or using a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add mint and color: Quickly stir in 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of mint extract and a few drops of green food coloring into the melted white chocolate, mixing well to evenly distribute both the flavor and color.
  4. Combine with Oreos: Fold the broken Oreo pieces into the mint-flavored white chocolate mixture until all are well coated.
  5. Set bark: Pour the mixture into a pan lined with wax paper, spreading it evenly. Place the pan into the freezer for about two hours, or until completely set and firm.
  6. Break and serve: Once the bark is hardened, break it into pieces of desired size and enjoy your refreshing Mint Oreo Bark.

Notes

  • Use high-quality white chocolate morsels for best flavor and smooth melting.
  • Adjust mint extract according to taste; start with less to avoid overpowering the white chocolate.
  • Freezing speeds up setting time but you can refrigerate if preferred; just allow more time for the bark to firm up.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
