Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Brie cheese
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare Puff Pastry: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut it into approximately 12 equal squares to fit into a mini muffin tin.
  2. Fill Pastry: Place one square of puff pastry into each cup of the mini muffin tin. Cut the Brie into small pieces and add a piece to each pastry square. Top each with about a teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  3. Bake: Bake the filled puff pastry bites in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed, and the Brie is melted and bubbly.
  4. Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the mini brie bites to cool for a couple of minutes before carefully removing them from the muffin tin. Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • You can substitute cranberry sauce with fig jam or apricot preserves for a different fruity flavor.
  • Ensure the puff pastry is thoroughly thawed to avoid cracking when cutting and folding.
  • For an extra touch, sprinkle chopped nuts such as pecans or walnuts on top before baking.
  • These bites can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
