Ingredients

Scale

Slider Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup pickled jalapeno peppers, diced
  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Topping

  • 2 tablespoons Challenge Butter Lawry’s Seasoned Salt Snack Spread

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350˚F (175˚C) to prepare for baking the sliders.
  2. Mix Cream Cheese and Jalapenos: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the diced pickled jalapeno peppers. Stir until the jalapenos are evenly distributed throughout the cream cheese for a consistent spicy flavor.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, separating the top halves from the bottoms. Arrange the bottom halves in a baking dish. Spread the jalapeno cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom rolls. Layer the shredded chicken over the cream cheese, gently pressing it down to ensure it adheres. Sprinkle the shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top, then place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  4. Cut Sliders: Use a serrated knife to carefully cut between each sandwich, separating them into individual sliders while keeping them close together in the baking dish.
  5. Prepare Butter Spread: Melt the 2 tablespoons of Challenge Butter Lawry’s Seasoned Salt Snack Spread until liquid. Use a brush to coat the tops of the slider buns with this melted butter mixture, making sure to brush any excess between the rolls to enhance flavor and browning.
  6. Bake Sliders: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls turn golden brown.
  7. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve immediately while warm and gooey.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • Use cooked shredded chicken, either rotisserie or leftover, to save time.
  • Adjust jalapeno quantity according to your spice preference.
  • These sliders are best served warm right out of the oven.
  • You can prepare the sliders a few hours ahead and refrigerate before baking; just increase baking time slightly if baking from cold.
