Ingredients

Scale

Chicken

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Sauce

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard

Others

  • 8 slider buns
  • 4 slices cheese (cheddar or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken breasts until they are fully cooked through and no longer pink in the center, about 5-6 minutes per side depending on thickness.
  2. Prepare the honey mustard sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the honey and Dijon mustard until smooth and well combined.
  3. Coat the chicken in sauce: Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to low and pour the honey mustard sauce over the chicken, allowing it to simmer and coat the chicken for about 2-3 minutes, turning the chicken to fully cover with sauce.
  4. Melt the cheese: Place a slice of cheese on each piece of chicken in the skillet and cover with a lid to let the cheese melt, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Assemble the sliders: Cut the slider buns in half and place a piece of honey mustard chicken with melted cheese on the bottom half. Cover with the top halves of the buns. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use thighs instead of breasts for juicier chicken.
  • Add some greens like lettuce or pickles inside the sliders for extra crunch and flavor.
  • Make sure to cook the chicken to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for safety.
  • Use freshly baked slider buns for the best texture and taste.
