Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup dairy-free milk of your choice (240 ml)
  • ¼ cup chia seeds (40 grams)
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter or almond butter for Paleo
  • 12 tablespoons sweetener of your choice (maple syrup, honey, agave, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a medium-sized bowl, add the dairy-free milk, chia seeds, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, peanut butter, and sweetener. Whisk thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.
  2. Divide Mixture: Pour the pudding mixture evenly into two smaller bowls or an airtight container for storage.
  3. Chill: Cover the bowls or container and refrigerate for at least 1 to 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken into a pudding consistency.
  4. Serve and Top: Before serving, top the pudding with sliced banana, chocolate chips, extra peanut butter, or any toppings you prefer to enhance the flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For a Paleo version, use almond butter instead of peanut butter.
  • Sweetener amount can be adjusted to taste or omitted for a less sweet pudding.
  • Chilling overnight results in the best pudding texture.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Try adding a pinch of sea salt to enhance the chocolate and peanut butter flavors.
